Fixed games tips Fernando Alonso: Sometimes you wonder whether the attitude of the judges will change if the drivers are swapped in a controversial episode

Alonso criticized the inconsistency of refereeing decisions in F1. The Aston Martin driver doubts that Max Verstappen would have received a penalty and lost pole position at the Qatar Grand Prix if a controversial episode in qualifying had arisen involving a driver of any nationality rather than George Russell. Or if Verstappen himself had been the injured party in that episode.
Sometimes when stewards apply certain rules or penalties to someone, the question arises why they do not continue to act in the same way in the future? Because sometimes these rules no longer apply in the next race - and sometimes it depends on the nationality of the racer.
If I do the same thing [what Russell did in Qatar with Verstappen], I probably won`t get the same advantage that George got. Or take the incident at the Australian Grand Prix - when it didn`t come to contact, the cars passed 30 meters from each other, but someone drove outside the track. And in the end I received a 20-second penalty for this.
So yes, sometimes you start to wonder - will the attitude of the judges change if the riders are swapped in a controversial episode? That`s what it`s about, " Alonso said.
