Alena Ostapenko commented on the controversy with the system for automatically detecting when the ball hits the court. It seems to me that the system doesn`t exactly ignore some lines. . . Firstly, sometimes the out sounds very late. You`ve already hit, and then you hear an out. This doesn`t usually happen with line judges.
Secondly, she misses some balls that are not even slightly out of touch, but by a lot.
- Personally, I would like Hawk-Eye and linemen. Because it turns out more accurately. Much more accurate, much less errors. It`s my personal opinion.
- To have a simple Hawk-Eye system, and not an automatic one.
I also think the court looks better this way. Without linear players it seems a little empty (smiles).
