Two-time Olympic champion in the US national team, Golden State forward Draymond Green reacted to the FIBA message on social networks that Spain had taken first place in the world ranking of men`s national teams.
When you realize that you have overthrown the United States from the throne in the world rankings for the first time in history, " FIBA wrote under the photo of one of the leaders of the Spanish team, Juan Hernangomes.
Dethroned? Stop it, " Greene commented, adding a few laughing emojis.
This is the first time Americans have lost top spot since the rankings were created in 2010. Team USA dropped to second place. Australia remains in third place, Argentina fourth, France fifth.
